Stone Therapy

The basis of stone therapy, that is, healing massage with stones, is the effect of contrasting temperatures on thermoregulation, nervous, endocrine, immune and cardiovascular systems of the body.

Massage with stones relieves muscle pain, discomfort and heaviness in the back, neck and legs, as well as from fat deposits. Stone therapy is also used in the treatment of protracted catarrhal diseases. Other ailments treated with stone therapy are: digestive problems and constipation; depression and sudden mood swings; fatigue; headache; insomnia.

And if you do not have such problems, you can remove stress using stress therapy, improve your mood and just relax.

However, as with all other types of treatment, there are contraindications to the procedure. They are: spinal injuries, pregnancy, complications associated with diabetes, deep vein thrombosis.

How does this happen?

Hot stones are laid out by a specialist under the back, and then in a special way are laid out on the chakras using special techniques. Gradually, there is relaxation, breathing becomes deeper and less frequent. Massage with hot stones begins with the feet, then shifts to the shins, hips, hands, hands. Hot stones slowly, with pressure, move along the body, leaving behind a warm, relaxed muscle. Most often, the procedure does not cause a dream, but a “flight” state.

The method of stone therapy is based not only on the temperature, but also on the energy impact of stones in combination with elements of reflexology.

During the session 54 black hot and 18 white cold stones are applied, which alternate during the massage. It is also used one stone of room temperature.

Hot stone massage is a wonderful way to relax the muscles and speed up the metabolic processes. During such a massage, the blood vessels expand, blood circulation and metabolism improve. After the session, there is peace of mind.

Massage with cold stones, on the contrary, leads to narrowing of the vessels and capillaries of the skin (in combination with hot stones), eliminates venous stasis. After the session, muscle tone increases, more oxygen enters the tissues.

During the session, the blood flow to the painful zone increases, the cells begin to work more actively, and blood and lymph carry away toxins. At the same time, tissues are enriched with oxygen.

The session of stone therapy is conducted by candlelight, in combination with aromatherapy and pleasant relaxing music. Usually, stone massage lasts from 45 minutes to one and a half hours.

This is a unique health-improving procedure, which has virtually no analogues.
